Aside from citrus juice, what can I add to fruit salad to prevent it from turning brown?

I am making a fruit salad and one consumer is allergic to all citrus juices. What can I add to the salad to keep things like apples and bananas from turning brown?

    try a little apple cider vinegar, (diluted with water, if it’s strong.) It’s the acid in citrus juice that stops fruit from turning brown.
