Do Watermelon trees die after the first harvest and you have to plant new ones again or do they last for more?

I bought some watermelon and rockmelon seeds from bunnings and I just needed to know.
Trees, vines it doesn’t matter, whatever they grow on.

Watermelon do not grow on trees. They grow on vines. And yes, you do need to replant them each year.

Melons and squashes live only one season.
