Does growing a pomegranate hydroponically work faster than in soil?

I’m growing some in school and the biggest is about 3 inches tall. They have been growing for about 4 weeks. Is that fast for a pomegranate?

  1. William B Says:

    yes
soil is just a support, with minerals
the nutrients come form the water leaching Thur the soil
so if you have water with all the nutrients in it, the plant will absorb it faster

  2. Craig Says:

    every plant works better hydroponically
