I’ve started about 30 watermelon plants on peat pots (Moons and Stars and Black Diamond). All are doing very well and look to be about ready to transplant into the garden. I have however heard that they are prone to a deadly white powdery mold on their leaves. How can I prevent this from happening to mine?

Also this is my first time growing watermelons of any type so any other tips from people experienced with these varieties of watermelons are greatly appreciated!!

Answer by Jennifer
Sprinkle 12oz of coffee grounds per square yard of property.
