What is a good recipe for making a healthy fruit smoothie?
I’m looking for something that won’t make me go to the store and buy some fancy ingredients! Household stuff, please!

What do you have at home? Just blend in whatever fruits you have and milk. I always add banana to the mix.

Take what ever you have..although use soyamilk instead of regular milk. It will give a hazel taste…

1/2 cup of Strawberries or other fruit
1 yogurt (plain or whatever flavor you like…if you don’t have yogurt you can use vanilla ice cream but it’s more like a milkshake than a smoothie ya know?)
2 cups of milk
1cup of ice
1tbsp of sugar
Blend it all together and enjoy!!! sooooo goood
I make some with strawberries and banans, or kiwis yummy!

I have made them with OJ, frozen strawberries, and a banana.
The strawberry doesn’t have to be frozen.
You can put just about any fruit in the blender with juice or milk and have a smoothie.

If you like banana, just plain bananas (better if frozen) and milk makes a great smoothie, (It tastes like a milkshake since bananas are so creamy) and vanilla extract makes it even better. You could even try mango in it. Mmm.. My other favorite is frozen raspberries and strawberries, milk or fruit juice, and vanilla yogart. (You also might want to add sugar.) But it’s pretty much good with any kinds of fruits. I like topping them off with whipped cream, but that’s just me. lol

fresh organic fruits are the best, depending on what texture you want, you can make it with milk or yogurt, as long as its low fat. But its really all about the fruits that you use. Any kind of berry generally works better. Strawberry, blueberry, cranberry, etc etc. Kiwis and bananas always add a little extra taste.
