Which fruits and vegetables are the healthiest to eat?
If you had to make a top 5 list of the healthiest fruits and the healthiest vegetables, which would be in each category’s top 5? Try to limit it to fruits/veggies that can be found in most supermarkets, nothing too exotic (though the supermarket that I shop at does have a very good produce selection, so you don’t need to keep it too basic).

All fruit and vegatables are good really, although the brighter the colour the richer in antioxidants. I would say my top ten from all the books and stuff that I have read would be peppers, avocado, broccoli, spinach, carrots, apples, kiwi fruit, sweet potatoes, asparagus and tomatoes. Also, herbal teas are good for anti oxidants, they can also have beneficial effects on the body, for example anti-inflammatory (rosehip, camomile), digestion (peppermint). I recommend going onto google and tapping the vegetable in to get information on each one’s properties. They are all good for different things so depends greatly on what you want as an individual. Hope that helps. x
